    Group activities will include a mixture of creative activities, games, and competitions designed to introduce therapeutic exercises, exposures, and skills practice in a fun and engaging way.

    Individual therapy pullouts will occur throughout the treatment day.

  • Our home base will be in the Psychology building on Emory’s main campus. However, we will be spending most of our time outside on Emory’s campus and nearby village for games, activities, and therapeutic exposures each day.

  • Camp is held on Emory University’s main campus. Drop-off and pick-up will occur at the PAIS Building located at 12 Eagle Drive.

  • We ask that all campers come prepared with lunch, water and a snack. We will not be providing meals.

    We understand that some campers may have food allergies or dietary restrictions. We will work closely with parents and guardians to accommodate individual needs to create a safe environment for all campers.

  • No. We will gather information about your child’s symptoms during the intake process to determine if they are a good fit. A formal diagnosis is not required.

  • Exclusionary criteria include youth who exhibit disruptive or aggressive behaviors, are at risk of harm to themselves or others, and/or are a flight risk.

  • This is totally normal! During our intake process we will assess your child’s willingness and make a determination about their ability to participate. We are skilled at meeting kids where they are and helping them do uncomfortable things.

  • Our team is composed of licensed psychologists, advanced doctoral psychology trainees, and skilled post-baccalaureate professionals. All team members have experience working clinically with youth, have undergone extensive training for the camp, and have completed background checks.

  • Our hope is that campers leave feeling more confident, supported, motivated, and ready to tackle any challenges that arise after camp ends.

  • We will have an individual meeting with campers and their parents at the end of camp to review progress and discuss next steps and referrals (if appropriate).
